01 / Make the call

Is this the right room?

Emitree's assessment of audience fit. Conference access does not establish buying intent or guarantee meetings.

Consider it if

You sell software, consulting, infrastructure, or professional services to water utility leadership (funding strategy, digital transformation, enterprise risk, workforce planning) and need the C-suite and board-level staff who set utility budgets and priorities.

Consider another event if

You sell to plant-level engineers or operators rather than executive and management decision-makers, or your offer sits outside utility strategy, funding, risk, and governance.

02 / Understand the audience

Who attends

Utility managers and executives, CFOs and finance directors, public works directors, engineers and project managers, HR professionals, public officials, PR specialists, regulatory staff, and board members, per AWWA's own who-attends list. This is buyer-side water utility leadership, not a vendor crowd. The conference is co-located with the Young Professionals Summit and sells a combined ticket for it. Neither host association publishes attendance figures.

How large is the event?

Neither AWWA nor WEF publishes attendance totals. The 2026 edition, WEF-hosted in Charlotte on March 24-27, 2026, ran 34 technical sessions and 7 pre-conference workshops, which puts it at mid-size executive conference scale rather than trade show scale. The 2027 edition returns to AWWA hosting in Vancouver.

Tickets and eligibility

All figures USD. Registration for 2027 opens in September 2026, so no 2027 rates exist yet. AWWA's page still shows its 2025 card, marked subject to change: full conference $675 (member, early) to $1,000 (non-member, late), single-day passes $350 to $750, students $45 to $75, and pre-conference workshops $140 to $470 depending on half or full day and membership, with the early cutoff at January 9, 2025. The YP Summit ran $170 to $220, with a second $255 to $315 range on the same card; AWWA's 2025 card does not make clear which figure is the standalone rate and which is the UMC-bundled one. The 2026 WEF-hosted edition charged $739 (member, early bird) to $1,349 (non-member, standard) for the full conference, $439 to $689 for one day, and $100 to $225 per workshop, with early-bird pricing ending February 20, 2026. Treat both as historical reference, not 2027 pricing.

Rates and eligibility can change. Confirm the current price, tax treatment and included sessions with the organizer.

The practical questions

Before you decide

Is AWWA/WEF The Utility Management Conference (UMC) 2027 still upcoming?

This edition is listed for February 16–19, 2027. Check the organizer's page for changes before booking.

Where can I find the AWWA/WEF The Utility Management Conference (UMC) exhibitor list?

We have not linked a public exhibitor directory for this edition. Ask the organizer about current directories and attendee access.

Does a company listing confirm who will attend?

A sponsor, exhibitor or speaker listing establishes that published role. It does not establish which employees will attend or whether they are buying. Previous-edition examples remain historical.

How can Emitree help with AWWA/WEF The Utility Management Conference (UMC)?

We research relevant accounts using public conference sources and any lists you provide. We qualify the accounts against your offer, run agreed outreach and record replies and meetings in your CRM.
