01 / Make the call

Is this the right room?

Emitree's assessment of audience fit. Conference access does not establish buying intent or guarantee meetings.

Consider it if

You sell grid modernization, DER management, demand-response, energy-efficiency, or building and grid decarbonization technology to North American electric utilities. The program centers on utility buyers and their consulting, finance, and EPC partners.

Consider another event if

Your buyer is a corporate ESG or carbon-accounting function rather than a utility engineering, grid operations, or DER procurement team. DTECH's programming is transmission and distribution technology, not sustainability reporting.

02 / Understand the audience

Who attends

The official site publishes headline figures of 18,000 plus professionals, 684 exhibitors, 490 plus speakers, and 800 plus utility attendees, with Southern Company named as 2027 host utility and Itron as the presenting sponsor. The organizer groups attendees into four buyer categories: utilities, consultants, finance and investment professionals, and EPC firms. No seniority percentage breakdown or named attendee list beyond the host utility and sponsor roster is published.

How large is the event?

The official 2027 site publishes 18,000 plus professionals, 684 exhibitors, 490 plus speakers, and 800 plus utility attendees. These are the organizer's headline figures for the show and are not labeled as either confirmed 2027 registrations or prior-edition actuals.

Tickets and eligibility

No tier prices are published yet. The official registration page states that registration is scheduled to open in fall 2026 and that badge costs differ by pass type, listing Utility, General, Solution Provider, Exhibitor, Groups through the Utility Partner Program, and Press/Media tiers. The only amounts currently published are a USD 125 spouse add-on covering the exhibit hall, opening keynote, opening party, and networking party, and a USD 110 administrative charge deducted from refunds. Cancellations must be received in writing by January 8, 2027 to qualify for a refund, and no refunds are available after that date. The page also separates an All Access Pass covering the full educational program of technical sessions, workshops, Grid University, roundtables, networking events, and PDH eligibility from a cheaper Expo-Only Pass limited to the exhibit hall, keynotes, Knowledge Hubs, and welcome receptions.

Rates and eligibility can change. Confirm the current price, tax treatment and included sessions with the organizer.

04 / Plan the details

Before you book

Registration opens in fall 2026, so no seller-tier price can be budgeted yet. Cost varies by pass type and by All Access versus Expo-Only access, and the January 8, 2027 refund cutoff falls roughly seven weeks before the show opens.

The practical questions

Before you decide

Is DISTRIBUTECH International 2027 still upcoming?

This edition is listed for March 1–4, 2027. Check the organizer's page for changes before booking.

Where can I find the DISTRIBUTECH International exhibitor list?

We have not linked a public exhibitor directory for this edition. Ask the organizer about current directories and attendee access.

Does a company listing confirm who will attend?

A sponsor, exhibitor or speaker listing establishes that published role. It does not establish which employees will attend or whether they are buying. Previous-edition examples remain historical.

How can Emitree help with DISTRIBUTECH International?

We research relevant accounts using public conference sources and any lists you provide. We qualify the accounts against your offer, run agreed outreach and record replies and meetings in your CRM.
