The conference brief

Upcoming edition

Ecomondo 2026

Europe's circular-economy and waste/water trade fair in Rimini, with an enormous but mostly Italian and industrial footfall. The cheap public ticket is a false signal, since real access to buyers requires a stand, a national-pavilion slot, or hosted-buyer status.

01 / Make the call

Is this the right room?

Emitree's assessment of audience fit. Conference access does not establish buying intent or guarantee meetings.

Consider it if

You serve industrial, waste, water, or municipal clients in Southern Europe or MENA and will exhibit, or you sell EPR, waste-traceability, or LCA software to regulated operators, or you qualify as a hosted buyer, in which case it's nearly free.

Consider another event if

Your buyers are corporate net-zero teams in North America or Northern Europe, or you planned to attend on a cheap ticket without a stand.

02 / Understand the audience

Who attends

Waste and recycling operators, water utilities, municipalities, industrial groups, and equipment makers. Italian and Euro-Mediterranean, about 9-10% international skewing Iberia, the Balkans, Turkey, and North Africa. Buyers buy plant and machinery, not offsets or reporting suites.

How large is the event?

'Over 108,800 participants' is cited for 'the last edition' with no year attributed (the 2024 attribution can no longer be re-verified; its press release 404s). 'Participants' counts attendance events including exhibitor staff and students. 1,700+ exhibiting brands and 800+ hosted buyers from 65 countries per the 2025 release.

Tickets and eligibility

Tickets are trivially cheap: 15 euros for 1 day, 30 euros for 2 days pre-booked online, 35/45 euros on-site, though the ticket page still carries the prior edition's date windows until IEG re-dates the table around late September. The real cost is a stand: no official rate card, but national-pavilion benchmarks run about 350-500 euros per square meter all-in. Hosted buyers attend free with accommodation support.

Rates and eligibility can change. Confirm the current price, tax treatment and included sessions with the organizer.

04 / Plan the details

Before you book

29th edition, Tuesday-Friday, 4 real days; Friday is the light and student day. Conference content is largely in Italian, with about 1.5-2 days' worth in English. Matchmaking (the 'My Agenda' platform and the International Buyer Program) is exhibitor-to-buyer only; a walk-in visitor gets the catalogue.

The practical questions

Before you decide

Is Ecomondo 2026 still upcoming?

This edition is listed for November 3–6, 2026. Check the organizer's page for changes before booking.

Where can I find the Ecomondo exhibitor list?

We have not linked a public exhibitor directory for this edition. Ask the organizer about current directories and attendee access.

Does a company listing confirm who will attend?

A sponsor, exhibitor or speaker listing establishes that published role. It does not establish which employees will attend or whether they are buying. Previous-edition examples remain historical.

How can Emitree help with Ecomondo?

We research relevant accounts using public conference sources and any lists you provide. We qualify the accounts against your offer, run agreed outreach and record replies and meetings in your CRM.
